TO JABBERWOCK INN in Monterey, California. Set in a half-acre
of gardens, this Craftsman-style bed and breakfast inn provides

comforters. Three rooms include Jacuzzi tubs for two. In the late
afternoon, wine, hors d'oeuvres and aperitifs are served on an
enclosed sun porch. After dinner, guests are tucked into bed with
homemade cookies and milk.
